Do you offer a barber or hair stylist discount?

Yes, as a stylist/barber you receive a 10% discount off everything in the store. Just make sure to bring in your license and I.D or business card to put into the system. And it’s as simple as that

Do you have a refund or exchange policy?

Yes, Thank you for shopping with Roots Hair & Beauty. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you have 14 days from the day you received your package to make a return or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, an item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Merchandise cannot be brushed, washed, fingered through, combed, cut, or taken out of the bundle or original packaging. Merchandise cannot be altered, damaged or broken.

In- Store Returns:

To return merchandise in person at a Roots Hair and Beauty store, merchandise must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Merchandise cannot be brushed, washed, fingered through, combed, cut, or taken out of the bundle or original packaging. Merchandise cannot be altered, damaged or broken. 

Our Return Process:

Once your return/exchange is received, processing time may take 3-5 business days. Once merchandise has been inspected; you will receive an email to confirm if your refund has been approved or denied.

 If return is approved, return credits will always be issued to the same card to which they were originally charged. Funds may take up to 3-5 business days to return to your original payment method.

Ineligible Items for return

– ALL Fashion Jewelries and Cosmetics are Final Sale.
– Any product that is opened, used, tried on, altered, and damaged by customers, missing pieces, and missing packaging materials.

How many bundles do I need?

If you’re doing a full head 2 bundles can get it done, depending on the length and fullness that you desire. On average most people use 2 bundles and a closure as long as your longest length is around 18″. Usually anything over 18″ you’ll need an extra bundle.

What is a lace closure?

A lace closure is a 4×4 section of hair that allows you to protect your hair, but at the same time give you a very natural and realistic looking part.

What is a frontal?

A frontal is a 13×4 section of hair that covers from ear to ear giving you the best natural hairline while allowing you to pull your hair up into a ponytail and have more versatility in your styles.

How long will hair last?

Or 100% virgin hair is GUARANTEED to last you anywhere from 3-5 years with the proper care and use of products.

How do I maintain my bundles?

The less product you use on your bundles, the less you’ll have to do to maintain them. Cowash/shampoo once a week with ORX or Silicone Mix shampoo and conditioner for any style (which can be found at Roots). To help keep curls nice and fresh add the Hawaiian Silky 14 in 1 spray.
Can this hair be colored/dyed?

Yes, since our bundles are 100% unprocessed you can color, dye, straighten and curl with no restrictions.

If I straighten my hair will it go back to the original curl pattern?

If you purchase any of our bundles with a curl pattern and you decide to straighten it, once it gets wet it will revert right back to its original curl pattern.

Do you off bundle deals?

ABSOLUTELY!! We offer 15% off when you purchase 3 or more bundles. And throughout the year we offer additional sales.

How many packs do I need?

On average any kind or pretwisted/pre-braided hair will need at least 7 packs.

How long will it last?

Crochet hair can last at least 2 installs with proper care and maintenance.

Do you cut lace fronts?

Yes, at the time of purchase your wig can be cut for you.

How many wigs am I allowed to try on?

We have no limit, you can try on as many as you need in order to find the perfect fit. We also offer one free stocking cap when trying on wigs.

Do you use cookies?

Yes, we use cookies to be able to allow us to track your order for cart functions. All cookies are temporary and can be deleted at any time. However, if you are in the middle of a transaction, we suggest not deleting the cookies until you have made your purchase.

Is my credit card secure?

Yes, we use state of the art encryption to protect your data and privacy. We do not store any credit card information on our servers. All payments are processed through Stripe Payment Processing.
